    Rape-The Cold Hard Facts
    The Solution Fluency
    The Process:
Define–South Africa is claimed to be the Rape Capital of the world. Rape and sexual abuse against women and children are one of SA’s most popular incidents.
Discover– South Africa has the highest rate of sexual abuse against women and children. As Statistics says from the Criminal Law (Sexual offences and related matters) amended act of 2007, South Africa is one of the country where sexual abuse actions are still common, as the country has the highest rate child and baby rape in the world with more than 67,000 cases of rape and sexual assaults against children reported in 2000, with welfare groups believing that unreported incidents could be up to 10 times higher. In 2001, a 9-month-old was raped and likely lost consciousness as the pain was too much to bear. Another 9-month-old baby was raped by six men, aged between 24 and 66, after the infant had been left unattended by her teenage mother. A 4-year-old girl died after being raped by her father. A 14-month-old girl was raped by her two uncles.
Dream–We deal with this problem by campaigns that will gather people together and try to address these problems and evaluate ways of rectifying it. More awareness must be created concerning this problem through the media, where we have to transmit the messages of the issue and ways on how we can try to solve them. It is trusted that communication is the process of solving an issue.
Design– As the country we can involve the processes of therapy and counselling. Convince the victims to share their stories to other people, so this could help the vulnerable ones to be aware of the future actions of the offenders. Bring more man on campaigns like Brothers for Life, encouraging more females to also engage on campaigns like Zazi.
Deliver- The nation of South Africa can create more media sources like TV series and so forth that will publish information about these issues. More awareness will be created on what South Africa is trying to get a handle on, so this will hopefully make people to stand up and talk about this issue.
Debrief- Through applying these solutions, we will be more focused on both the victims and the offenders of this action. Our primary solution is to create more awareness on the problem and try to bring people closer and to redress it in a more adequate manner. We will also be more focused on the causes of these problems, what must be done and what have to be implemented

South Africa is regarded as the rape capital of the world. The problem in South Africa is that very few rapes are reported compared to its frequency. This means that experienced rapists are still on the streets. The fact that not so many rapes are reported makes the act a lot less risky to those who are guilty of rape. This makes it easy for rapists to continually do it. Females should be able to report what they had been victimized of without hesitation. This will only occur if society doesn’t look down on the person misfortune and the policing services are improved. This will give females more confidence to report what had happened without any fear and without even more damage to their self-esteem. Society should be educated about the frequency of rape that occurs in South Africa through advertisements in attempt to convert the judgmental response people have towards rape victims into one of a sympathetic nature. Improvement of the witness protection program that has already been put in place. More properties, better training for officers and the guaranteed service of this if one’s life is in danger after reporting an incident. This is an extremely difficult problem that South Africa faces, large amounts of funds should be made available to address this issue. Unlike HIV and AIDs this is controllable and no science is needed so I believe that if what’s mentioned above is implemented South Africa could lose its notorious rape status.
